Job chapter 27

Verse 2 -6

Even as the living God has denied me justice the Almighty  who has made me taste bitterness of soul.

He says as long as I have life within me the breath of God in my nostrils; my lips will not speak wickedness. And I won’t speak deciet,  I will never admit you are right. I wil never deny my integrity, I will maintain my righteousness and never let go of it. My conscience will not reproach me as long as I live.

Glory to God Job is telling his friends as long as I breath and live another day you will not hear or see me move against the law of God. I will never admit your accusations are right.

Verse 7-10

Job says may my enemies be like the wicked, my enemies like the one sided people. What hope has the godless when he is cut off, When God takes away his life ? Will he find joy in the Almighty?  Will he call upon God at all times.

This is serious Job says may God not hear my enemies, basically he says may my enemies be like the wicked, that there is no hope for them, that God turns his back on them. Job asks will my enemy call upon God at all times? Well if his enemies are like the wicked they wouldn’t even try to call on God.

Verse 11-13

Job says I will teach you about the power of God, the ways of the Almighty I will not hide. You have all seen this your selves, so why this worthless talk? Here is the fate of the wicked  (Job 15:20 says the fate of the wicked man is to suffer torment all the days of his life.)

Job tells his friends you already know the power of God, but I’m going to teach you anyway. I will not hide anything; the good, the bad, and the ugly. Hallelujah!!!! Here is the fate of the wicked man, the wicked man will suffer torment ALL the days of his life. I wouldn’t want that.

Verse 14 -17

Many of his children, their fate is like a sword his off spring will be hungry, the plague will consume his survivors, and their widows will not weep for them.  Though he is prosperous and greedy, what he saves the righteous will have and the innocent will divide his silver.

All that the wicked man puts aside and greedily collects for his self in selfishness will go to the righteous and his family will be without. I consider that knowledge also a wicked man will keep all the secrets of his success to himself, so that no one has what he has the righteous will learn it, yet the survivors will have no knowledge of how he earned and multiplied.

Verse 18- 23

Job goes through these verses explaining what the wicked will have to endure. I suggest you read it.

As I read I think about what if I didn’t walk with the Lord what torment would I be enduring, i think God for his son Jesus Christ my redeemer.  As my sister Tiffany said to live in the days of the old Testament.

Now for the Important part, if you are looking for salvation Google, download the free bible app or turn your bible to Romans 10:9 and confess with your mouth and believe with your heart that Jesus died on the cross and God raised him from the dead you will be saved. open the door to a wonderful relationship with our Sovereign God Jesus Christ.
