Esther Chapter 7

The King and Haman went to Esthers banquet and they were drinking wine.  The King asked Esther what is your petition? What is your request? even up to half the kingdom it will be granted.

Esther answered, if I have found favor with you O king and if it pleases your majesty grant to me my life, this is my petition- and spare my people, this is my request.

She begins to tell him that she and her people were sold to destruction, Slaughter, and annihilation. If they had been sold as female and male slaves then she would have kept quiet because it wouldn’t have made since. To disturb the king.
The King asked Esther, Who is the man? Who dare such a thing?

Esther answers him and says The adversary and enemy is this vile Haman.

Could you visualize this moment haman sipping his wine feeling positive about all the negative feelings that he had filled his mind with, he probably was thinking about when and how he was going open up the conversation on killing Mordecai. Maybe even thinking about his order of reasons why. reasons that are good enough for the king. Then again he probably wasn’t  worried about giving a reason why he needed permission to take Mordecai’s life.

Then comes the Queen with her petition to spare her people.

The Bible goes on to say Haman was terrified before the King and Queen the king got up in rage left his wine and went into the palace garden.

So I’m sure we could imagine that the King was mad because the bible states that he left his wine. After reading  7 chapters the one thing we have learned that King Xerxes loves his wine.

Haman realized that the king had already decided his fate.

When the king came back from the palace garden  to the banquet hall Haman was falling on the couch where Esther was reclining. The king proclaimed  will he even molest the queen while she is with me in the house?

As soon as the word left the kings mouth they covered Haman’s face. The eunuchs attending the king said gallows seventy-five feet high stands by Haman’s house. He had it made for Mordecai who spoke up to help the king.

The king said hang him on it! So they hung Haman on the gallow he prepared for Mordecai  then the kings fury subsided.

To God be the Glory that Esther was able to save her people. That she was put in the position to speak. Praise God that Mordecai was able to raise an aware young woman who Loved God and Loved her people. Praise God that King Xerxes was pleased with the sight of Esther that he would give anything to his wife.

As a lesson to us all, we learned that what you prepare for someone  else God prepares for you. If you prepare horrible things and wish troubles and hardship, that’s what your going to get when the smoke clears.

Love each other as God loves you. You give love, and it’s going to be returned right back to you. God bless you guys
