Acts 3:11-26New International Version (NIV)

Peter Speaks to the Onlookers

11 While the man held on to Peter and John, all the people were astonished and came running to them in the place called Solomon’s Colonnade. 12 When Peter saw this, he said to them: “Fellow Israelites, why does this surprise you? Why do you stare at us as if by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk? 13 The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus. You handed him over to be killed, and you disowned him before Pilate, though he had decided to let him go. 14 You disowned the Holy and Righteous One and asked that a murderer be released to you. 15 You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. We are witnesses of this. 16 By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has completely healed him, as you can all see.

17 “Now, fellow Israelites, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did your leaders. 18 But this is how God fulfilled what he had foretold through all the prophets, saying that his Messiah would suffer. 19 Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, 20 and that he may send the Messiah, who has been appointed for you—even Jesus. 21 Heaven must receive him until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets. 22 For Moses said, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own people; you must listen to everything he tells you. 23 Anyone who does not listen to him will be completely cut off from their people.’[a]

24 “Indeed, beginning with Samuel, all the prophets who have spoken have foretold these days. 25 And you are heirs of the prophets and of the covenant God made with your fathers. He said to Abraham, ‘Through your offspring all peoples on earth will be blessed.’[b] 26 When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.”

Peter says in Solomon’s colonnade, Men of Israel why are you surprised like it was us with the power of godliness, that made this man walk. It was Jesus who you all murdered. The God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified his servant, and you disowned him before Pilate though he wanted to let him go. you killed the author of life but God raised him from the dead. We are witness to this. It is by faith in Jesus Christ this man is healed, as you can see

He goes on to say, even though you acted with ignorance and so did your leaders. But this is how God fulfilled what he said would happen through the prophets. when he said that his Christ would suffer. He then tells the Israelites that they needed to repent so that their sins could be wiped out, refreshing will come from the Lord , He will send Christ who has been appointed for you

ap·point·ed
əˈpoin(t)əd/
adjective
adjective: appointed
  1. 1.
(of a time or place) decided on beforehand; designated.
“she arrived at the appointed time”
synonyms: scheduled, arranged, prearranged, specified, decided, agreed, determined, assigned, designated, allotted, set, fixed, chosen, established, settled, preordained, ordained, prescribed, decreed

    “at the appointed time”

I thought we might go over the word appointed. I do that when I study, yes vocabulary words. lol

Then the scripture goes on to state that Christ will be in Heaven until the time comes for God to restore everything. as he promised long ago , through Moses.

Peter than informs the Israelites that they were the heir of the prophets, and the covenant that God had with Abraham. Also that was all people on the earth will be blessed, he tells them when God sent his servant, he sent him first to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.

Amazing faith is what we as Christians rely on to get us through our day. Faith is what allowed the beggar to be able to walk . What is amazing is that even though Peter says this is what you did to Gods servant Jesus, you still can repent and his spirit will still come down upon you. because had you not done what you did the Prophets message wouldn’t have come to pass and we would not be heirs. we are blessed because of Jesus

Praise God, for his unselfish and unchanging love. we are reminded that there is power in the name of Jesus. supernatural. God is so amazing he will shift for the faithful.

If there is anyone out there looking for the Lord, he has been waiting for you, Confess with your mouth and your heart that Jesus died for your sins, that Jesus is the Son Of The Living God. Turn your bible to Romans 10:9 -13, get yourself in a bible based church and start your fellowship with the one who loves you.

Be Blessed everyone until next time

Really quickly, I received a prayer for those who want to accept Jesus Christ in to there lives. that is the first step the prayer comes from the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. It says pray a prayer like this.

Dear Lord Jesus,

I know that I am a sinner,

and I ask for your forgiveness,

I believe you died for my sins and rose from the dead.

I turn from my sins and invite you to come into my heart and life.

I want to trust and follow you as my Lord and savior. in your name, Amen.
