I pray that you all are doing well, and nothing is standing in your way. When we are moving in the will of God. There will be things that comes up in your life to distract you. It sometimes and most of the times will be the things that once rocked your whole foundation. Don’t let it, remember that you came out on the other side of the problem well, and you will do it again.

Matthew Chapter 9

Jesus Heals a Paralyzed Man

Verse 1 – 8

The word says that Jesus went into his own tow, and there the men brought a man to him paralyzed. Jesus saw their faith, and told the man that his sins were forgiven the word says Take heart

The teachers of the law saw this and said to themselves “this man is blaspheming.” Because Jesus knows their thoughts, he asked them why they thought so evil. He asked them if it was easier your sins are forgiven, than get up and walk? Jesus says this so we would know that the son of man has authority on earth to forgive sins.

Jesus tells the paralyzed man to get up and take his mat and go home. The word says the man got up and went home. The people praised God, who had given men this authority.

In this teaching Jesus shows us that we have the power to command, we have the authority to forgive sin. We walk around with lack of self-worth with so much power inside of us. The paralyzed man is us stuck in our circumstances we can’t seem to me because we don’t think we have the power to move out of it.

God has given us authority on this earth, to go forward and prosper, but he has also given us the gift of free will, to walk or sit. The question is what are you going to do with your power?

Verse 9 – 13

Jesus Eats with Sinners at Matthews House

The word says when Jesus left from the paralyzed man he saw a man name Matthew who was sitting in the tax collector’s booth. Jesus told the man to follow him, and Matthew got up and followed him.

As Jesus was having dinner at Matthews house, many tax collectors and sinners came and ate with him and his disciples.

The word says when the Pharisees seen this they asked his disciples, why Jesus was eating with the tax collectors and the sinners?

It’s not the healthy that need a doctor, but the sick.

But go learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.

For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.

This word blew my mind, let’s talk about the real. Yes, we seek fellowship and to be around like-minded individuals. Let me say this on this blog first, I am not here for the righteous but for the sinner. This scripture made me realize why the Lord named the blog from sinner to saint, it’s here for the those that are looking for God, to help those that know him but have not yet established a relationship, and for those that just want to be filled by him.

Praise God for placing us here to help each other. We cannot deny the sinner we are not better than them, we are to have mercy. I Jesus came and walked the way we should be walking then we were meant to not expect sacrifice, but desire mercy, may God have mercy on them and me.

Verse 14 – 17

Religious Leaders Ask Jesus about Fasting

The word says that John’s disciples asked Jesus why he and the Pharisees fast but Jesus and his disciples doesn’t? Jesus answered by saying how can the guest of the bridegroom mourn while he is with them? The time will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them; then they will fast.

Jesus says no one will sew an unshrunk patch on old clothes because the patch will pull away from the garment making the tear worse. Nor will you pour new wine in old wineskins, if they do the skins will burst, the wine will run out and the wineskin will be ruined, so they pour new wine in a new wineskin and both are preserved.

This word is real Jesus was there to do a new thing. When he speaks about the patch he is talking about the old religious ways. If he did what they did it would be worst. Jesus and his disciples were spending as much time together teaching and learning with the many that followed. They would not mourn, there would be a time for them to fast.

When we fast, we are releasing the old a purge we are coming from the fast new, changed. When doing a new thing you can’t mix it with the old, when expecting a new blessing God isn’t going to pour it out on your old ways.

Verse 18 – 26

Jesus Heals a Bleeding Woman and Restores a Girl to Life

The word when Jesus was talking about fasting a ruler knelt before him and told him that his daughter had died, he told Jesus to come put his hand on her and she will live. (command)  Jesus got up and went with him.

The word says just then a woman who had been suffering with bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, she said to herself “ If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.”

Jesus turned and saw her and told her to “take heart your faith has healed you” and the woman was healed from that moment.

The word goes on to tell us when Jesus entered the ruler’s house and saw the flute players and the noisy crowd, he told them to go away. Jesus told them that the girl was not dead, but asleep. But they laughed at him. After the crowd was gone Jesus went to the girl touched her hand and she got up. The news spreads through the region.

The king with authority new that Jesus would bring his daughter back, the woman with blood knew that all she needed was to touch him. But Jesus said take heart, relax your worry. Your faith has healed you.

Our authority is in our faith, to know that God is real and will bring us from whatever we are coming from, going through, and moving toward. Are you walking in the power of your authority? Are you moving by faith? Are you ready to take heart?

Verse 27- 34

Jesus Heals the Blind and Mute

The word says Jesus went on from there, and two blind men followed him calling out have mercy son of David! When Jesus went indoors the blind men came to him and Jesus asked them Did they believe that he is able to do what they ask of him? they replied yes, Lord.

Jesus touched their eyes and said

According to your faith, it will be done to you?

And their sight was restored, Jesus warned them sternly make sure no one knows about this. But they went out and spread the news to the region.

The word says while the men were going out a man who was demon possessed and could not talk was brought to Jesus. When the demon was driven out the man was able to speak. The crowd was amazed and said, “Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel.” The word says but the Pharisees said “It is by the prince of demons that he drives out demons.

Our faith is the key, we serve a God of impossible so wouldn’t what he does be never before seen. My favorite saying is, if you want to see God go and do the impossible, that will be a faith walk, a walk on water. When folks don’t understand what God is doing they will typically say it is the devil it’s demonic. Remember they are not supposed to understand what God is doing through you so don’t expect them to.

Verse 35 – 38

Jesus Urges the Disciples to pray for workers

The verse starts by telling us that Jesus went through all the villages and towns techin in the synagogues, preaching the word of God and healing sickness and discomfort. When he saw the people he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Jesus said to his disciples the harvest is plenty but the workers are few. Jesus tells his disciples to ask the Lord for a harvest so we can send out workers into his harvest field.

This scripture is very important. One day the Lord showed me that we are the Trees of knowledge and we are Eden. When we are growing in the Lord being nurtured in to goodness, we have bountiful harvests. Everything that comes from us is good. Jesus had compassion for the people because they didn’t know how beautiful they could be. We don’t know how beautiful we can be. When we lack faith in God we are walking around worried about so many unimportant things. Sometimes it can be a problem only God can solve, those are the times to just wait in his presence.

Are you ready to be a worker are you ready to plant a seed for the harvest? Did you know that that can just be praying that someone gets to walk the path of righteousness? However God moves you are you ready to walk in faith, are you ready to be that tree of Knowledge that God tells you, you are? Here is your free will, you know of what is good and you know of what is evil, now you decide. Amen

Now for the most Important part, if you are looking to build your foundation in faith, you can Google, download a free bible app, or turn your bible to Romans chapter 10:9 and confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead then you shall be saved. Begin to build your foundation of faith with bible study, fellowship, worship and prayer.

Matthew Chapter 8

cropped-logo_2042734_web.jpg

Blessings everyone,

I pray that you all are moving in faith. With a sound mind in God. The word reminds us that a wise man will build his house on rock and not sand, for when a storm comes a house on sand will sink.

Matthews Chapter 8

Verse 1 – 4

Jesus Performs many Miracles

These verses are on Jesus healing the man with Leprosy.

The word says when Jesus came down from the mountain crowds followed him. There was a man with leprosy that came and knelt in front of him. The man asked Jesus to make him mclean.

Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man and said

“I am willing, you are cleaned.”

Jesus told the man not to tell anyone who healed him, but to show himself to the priest and offer the gifts that Moses commanded as a testimony.

When we are walking in the miracles of God there is no need to tell it on the mountain when a person see’s us then they will know exactly what is going on. I am guilty of telling it on the mountain. I can never seem to hold what God is doing in my life. This scripture I will pray into my life. Let my healing be my testimony.

Verse 5 – 13

A Roman Centurion Demonstrates Faith

The word says that when Jesus went into Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for his help. There was a servant that was laying paralyzed in terrible suffering.

Jesus says to the man “ I will go, and heal him”

The man begins to tell Jesus that he does not deserve to have Jesus under his roof but if Jesus would just say the word, and the servant is healed. The man begins to tell Jesus that he is a man of authority as well and if he tells his servants to go and do something they will go.

Jesus was astonished to her what the man said. The word says that Jesus said to the people that he has never seen anyone with such great faith. Jesus says many will come from the east and the west and take their place at the feast with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside in to the darkness.

Jesus tells the man to go! It will be done just a you believe it would.” And the servant was healed at that very hour.

We can be subjects of the word of God but it is when we move in faith that God has the power and authority to heal and fix all things is when we move toward that feast. You must believe in God’s power to be obedient.

Verse 14 – 17

Jesus heals peters mother-in- law and many others.

The word says that when Jesus came in peters house Peter’s mother in law was laying ing the bed dying from fever. Jesus touched her hand and the fever left her body and she got up and waited on him.

The word says when the evening came many who were demon possessed were brought to him. And he drove out spirits and healed all sick

“He took our infirmities, and carried our diseases.”

One thing came to my head when reading this part. We do not live in a day where people believe in miracles, signs, and wonders. We believe in a day where those that are believers doubt that they could be healed our mouths say won’t he do it and our brains say what am I going to do.

Verse 18 – 23

Jesus Teaches about the cost of following Him.

The word says when Jesus saw the crowd that followed him, he told everyone to cross to the other side of the lake. The word says a man who was a teacher of the law, came up to Jesus and said Teacher I will follow you wherever you go.

Jesus told the man that Foxes have holes and birds have nest, but the Son of man has no place to lay his head.

Another man told Jesus, that once he bury his father he will go with him and Jesus told him let the dead bury the dead and follow him.

We must be willing to understand that following Jesus may not mean stability. You’re going to have to take those risks on faith. Jesus didn’t have a place to live he was moving on faith that just like that fox had a hole and the bird had a nest that God will provide our place while we are moving forward.

When Jesus told the man to let the dead bury the dead. He may have been telling the man to follow him and live. God is like that our faith walk has us move from the things that are not of God. The man that wanted to go bury his father may have tried to put off walking in faith with Jesus. This will happen to us, when we begin to start following Jesus things will try to distract us. Remember that all things that isn’t of God does not give us life, we will have to be able to make the decision to let the dead bury the dead and live in Jesus name.

Verse 23-27

Jesus calms the storm

The word says that when Jesus got into the boat his disciples followed him and then a furious storm appeared, the waves crashed over the boat. The word says that Jesus was sleeping and his disciples woke him up saying “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!”

The Lord replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then the Lord got up and rebuked the storm and it was completely calm. The men were amazed and said “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey.

I have always believed that when we sleep God comes and spends time with us. Why not rest during a storm? When you rest during a storm you spend your time in faith. Not stressing about how are you going to fix it. When your faith is strong you know that God has given you the authority to tell that storm to go that it is not the center of your universe.

When we are moving in faith we cannot worry about the storm, worrying about the storm says that we lack confidence in the power of God, you cannot be a believer and doubt God.

Matthew Chapter 7

Blessing everyone,

As we are moving forward I pray that you all are seeking God, accepting others, and walking with the holy spirit.

Matthew Chapter 7

Jesus Teaches about Criticizing others

Verse 1- 6

Jesus teaches us, do not judge or we will be judged with the same measure of judgement that you used to judge. The Lord says we can’t look at the little things about others and criticize them and we have bigger things blocking our vision.

The Lord shows us that we can’t judge walking around crittizeing others when we are showing someone that something is not right, we should be standing in position as a helper not as a demolition. It is important that we are uplifting each other toward God.

Verse 7 -12

Jesus Teaches about Asking, Seeking, knocking

Jesus tells us ask and it will be given to us, seek and we will find, knock and the door will be open to you. Everyone who does these things shall receive.

Jesus askes who is Gods son and ask for bread and get stone. Our ask for a fish and be given a snake? Jesus tells us that the Father in heaven gives good gifts to those who ask him. The Lord says in everything so unto others what you would have them do to you. This is said by the Law and the Prophets.

It’s important to our spirit that we do right by the people that come into our lives. We should allow ourselves to not walk around wishing misery on each other. We should be able to see that we all are trying to move forward in life. We all are out for the greater good even though the good to many are different it’s important to know that we all desire it which means that there is no need to want someone else to fail or need.

If we can help in our time, finances if God has already sent you an overflow be ready to spread that over flow so that others may be able to have a little in their cup. Remember a cup that overflows end up wasting what if you don’t pour it into another glass.

Verse 13 &14

Jesus Teaches about the Way to Heaven

Jesus teaches us that if we want to head into destruction we would go the road that has many people and large options but if we want to get in to heaven there’s only one way and few take that road.

The walk as a believer is a walk of discipline and relationship. It takes lots of patience to stand and walk righteously a relationship with God puts us in a place that we are seeking him and when we stand in that place challenges will come and test your faith to allow you to build another level of faith in God. Many will try to fit through that gate but it takes humbleness to be able to fit and continue walking. Knowing God provides all and we when we are tempted still keep moving in what God has instructed. The word says

“don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

When we are weak in faith as soon as a stress factor comes with tomorrows worry we seem to try to fall off the narrow road and try to find our own path.

Verse 15-20

Jesus Teaches about Fruit in People’s Lives

Jesus warns us to watch out for false prophets, they come like wolves in sheep clothing. Pay attention to their fruit. Every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit.

Especially in this day you can scroll Facebook and find many people with the title Prophet before their names. Take the time to sit and speak with God before you run and do what they are telling you that “God said” look around them and see what God is moving in their life. Remember everything that comes from God is good.

Verse 21-29

Jesus Teaches about Those Who Build Houses on Rock and Sand.

Jesus says you can cry out Lord, Lord and still not get into heaven. Only those who do the will of the Father in heaven will get there.
“They may say didn’t I prophesy in your name and drive out demons and perform miracles in your name. and I will say to them get away from me you evil doers.”

Jesus tells us that if we listen to his words and put them in practice it is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The storm came and the house did not move. But the ones who hears the words and doesn’t put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The storm can and the house fell with a great crash.

The word says when Jesus was done teaching the crowd was amazed because he spoke with authority and not a teacher.

We must remember to apply the word of God to our lives this is important. We stand on the word of God that is solid ground if you don’t apply a practice of faith and righteous living you cannot think that you will stand strong in the tough times.

You cannot turn your back on God when the sun is up and then when the rain starts to get heavy you scream Lord, Lord. We cannot be hypocrites; our walk should place us in the position to want the Heavenly Father to have a smile on his face because he knows that we are strong in faith because we practice I every day. He has been training us for a time like this. What are you going to do in the storm be the light on the night stand or be the light under the night stand.

Be Blessed

A moment with W.Lundy

Blessings everyone,

I pray that you all are grabbing on to those downloads from God, like you were catching  your blessings falling from the sky. As believers we should go forth in great things, which means that we cannot edit and put exceptions on God’s words and Laws. I believe that is why getting to know Jesus again is very important to our Christian walk.

From Sinner to Saint Blog is posted on many Facebook groups and pages. I will not say the name of the particular group or page that this post applies to, but I will say that I questioned if I even wanted to be a part of that page. Here’s what happen and the lesson.

Someone shared a photo on the page that was a picture of our present president hanging from the ledge of a high building. The caption read will you help him, yes or no?

I went into the comments because I was curious of what the people of God had to say. It appeared that a majority said no, some very hateful and others very subtle. Not thinking about anything that Jesus ( the one who gave his life so that we can go to the father clean, the one who paid the ransom for us) had taught.

Some lazy days I really don’t want to spend the time sharing to all those pages. This reminded me of why I am to post the Lord’s Bible study in groups on Facebook. I was shown a statistic that I really didn’t want to know. We cannot walk in hate and say we love God.

“I hate this person because they are evil, someone needs to kill him, oh but yes, I love the Lord.

If we love the Lord, then we should have faith that anyone that he has allowed to be president, is in that position because it is a part of the Lord’s plan. You don’t like the Lord’s plan, because it compromises your life, or because there is so much pain in it. We can’t pray a solution with a heart full of hate. We need to be praying asking the Lord what does he need us to do about it!

If we read the word, then we know it’s not the first time the people did not like who was appointed leader, yet there was a reason that the not so great leader was appointed. This isn’t about that though maybe another moment.

When we read about Jesus and the many miracles that he performed. We learn that some miracles were commanding evil spirits from men. Jesus didn’t say die because your evil, Jesus commanded the spirit to go. He perferred to save the life of the men (Matt 8: 28-34) our positions aren’t to criticize or argue. Our positions are to bring God’s spirit with us, and allow the holy spirit to do a thing through us and into them.

I don’t agree with what is going on in this world but I do have faith enough to know, whatever it is the Lord is moving in it and through it, and has shifted it like that for a reason. I will not ask my heavenly Father what he is doing, but I will ask my Father what does he need from me.

Our faith allows us not to worry about what is here, but to only concern ourselves about what the Lord needs us to do. Anything else, the Lord will download the instructions on how to cross that bridge. In faith we follow the path that has already been cleared. When we are needed to stand in the gap, will our spirits be ready or will we be clogged with the thoughts that are not of God.

Can we pray effectively when our love is conditional? How do we  pray for others, when we can’t love others like we love ourselves ( Matt 22:39)

I encourage you all to not only read the studies that I post put open your bible right along with me. Allow God to give you a study that he has prepared just for your life. And most important have faith in what he is doing. Do not allow your flesh to pull you from your spirit man, what we can’t control is meant for God alone.

To the followers, I know this a isn’t normal Bible study we are on chapter 7 of Matthew but the Lord went in another direction and I must obey. If led chapter 7 will be posted today if not tomorrow. You can tune in on periscope tonight for today’s Jouney In Praise broadcast  my handle is @WilhelminaLundy and I go live at 7pm I will be discussing Matthew Chapter 6 and this moment in depth.

Be Blessed everyone and know that it is when we allow God to deal with the things that we have no control over, that my friends is called believing in the unseen.

Now for the important part if you want to begin a new journey with the Lord. Google, download the free bible app or turn your bible  to Romans 10:9 Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead and you shall be saved. Begin to build your foundation in faith through Prayer, word study, worship and fellowship.

Be Blessed

Matthew Chapter 6

Blessings everyone,

I pray that you all are going forth with full power, not half power but full power. When we walk in faith, we are walking with God, we are allowing God to led us in to everyplace that he knows that we will soar in. So today where ever God is leading you please go forth in the full power that God has gifted you in.

Matthew Chapter 6

Jesus Teaches about giving to the needy

Verse 1- 4

Jesus Teaches us to be careful not to display our righteous acts, for everyone to see. The word says If you do, you will have no reward from your father in heaven. The Lord says be sure not to announce your charitable deeds with trumpets like the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by men. The Lord says when you give to the needy, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving maybe in secret. Then your father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Praise God, this verse is very important especially in this day. I have scrolled on Facebook and seen videos of people feeding the homeless and just had to press record.  When we have been moved in our heart to do something for someone else and we have the means to do that thing. The Lord says that it is important that we go forth in secret if you press play for a praise from others then you have been rewarded already.

You can’t serve two gods so either you go forth and get the praise from man, or you go forth and allow the lord to open the storehouse and pour out your reward. I don’t know about you but if I am obeying the Lord by helping someone who needs me then I don’t want the praise of man, because the praise isn’t for us it’s for God who gave us the means to provide what was needed.

Verse 5 – 15

Jesus Teaches about Prayer

Jesus has spoken to us about praying, we are told not to go and pray standing out in other places, but to go to a room, close the door, and pray to your father, who is unseen. Then your father sees what you have done in secret, he will reward you. Jesus says and when you pray do not keep babbling like pagans, because they think that they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them for your father knows what you need before you ask him. Jesus says this is how you should pray:

Our Father in heaven,

Hallowed be your name,

Your kingdom come,

Your will be done

On earth as it is in heaven.

Give us today our daily bread.

Forgive us our debts,

Has we also have forgiven our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation,

But deliver us from the evil one.

Jesus says If you forgive men who sin against you, your heavenly father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your father will not forgive your sins.

The word tells us that when we pray go to a quiet place so that you can hear the Lord. When we are in church and we are in the street we pray in fellowship but we should be spending personal time with God.

Jesus shows how to begin our prayers. When we pray we are saying, Our father in heaven Holy is your name. we are asking God to lead us by his will on this earth as he has placed in heaven. God places us high, we place ourselves low. Anything that we would like to have God wants us to have better. we cannot even imagine the things that we could have. I am not only talking about material, if you are going to God for material things then you are going for the things that you idealize. I’m talking about better spiritually because you can have all the material things that you desire and still feel empty. You want peace of mind in a beautiful place, you want to be filled with the glory of God and your overflow will surround you. We want God to give us our instruction for the day, our daily lessons. We want the father to forgive us for the things that we owe him. Forgive us for not spending time with him, forgive us for not following his law, forgive us for not listening to his instructions. when we don’t deposit in to the storehouse how can we expect to have a bountiful overflow when the lord opens the storehouse (If you want to know more about the storehouse, go to Deuteronomy chapter 28). We make a covenant to forgive those who take away from us, forgive those that owe us. We ask God to not lead into temptation, but keep us from evil.

Anything that you want from the Father he already knows, he knows all things, so while we have finished the begin of the prayer, we are to be ready to praise him for already fixing it. Our faith is knowing that everything that comes our way has already been fixed and prepped better.

we can’t go around thinking we are too good to forgive someone who has wronged us, and expect God to forgive us. We should be ready to say if you did this to me or that to me, then you must have been fighting a spiritual battle that you lost. I am not mad at you, I will offer pray for your strength the next time your spirit goes to war.

Verse 16 – 18

Jesus teaches about fasting

Jesus tells us that when we fast, don’t walk around looking somber to show people that you are fasting. Jesus says when you are fasting put oil on your head and wash your face, so that it is not obvious to men that you are fasting, but to the Father, and he sees what you have done and he will reward you.

We should not be walking around looking distressed and hungry when we are fasting. When we are fasting, we are in God’s presence and we should not be worried about who knows that we are fasting. Your fast isn’t about others it is about you and God. Now if you are led to have a group fast, you’re not going to be walking around like it is the worst thing you ever done, and you can’t wait to be finished. You should be walking with the glory of God on you.

Verse 19-24

Jesus teaches about money

Jesus teaches not to horde the treasures that is of this earth, but to horde the treasures of heaven. Because where your treasures are, your heart will be

No need to rush out to get new things to put on display, do not need to break our back to make money to have the best of everything for ourselves. when we are more worried about making money for ourselves we are busy in selfishness. We are not busy for the spiritual purposes, matter of fact we are so busy on our hustle for more money, more things, that we let days, weeks, months go by before we spent time with God. We lose focus on what the true treasure is, like I said earlier you can have all the material things and the best of them but if you  aren’t linked to God your spirit is still going to feel empty, you’re in debt with God.

Verse 25 – 33

Jesus Teaches about Worry

Jesus tells us not to worry about food and clothes, Jesus askes us; isn’t your life and your body more important than food and clothes? Jesus reminds us to look at the birds, they do not sow, reap, or store, and doesn’t the Father provide for them, aren’t you more valuable to him than they are? Jesus asks; by worrying can you add an hour to your life?

Jesus says O’ you of little faith? Do not worry about what to eat or what to drink or what you’re going to wear. Your father knows that you need them, seek first his kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well. Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble.

Amen I cannot say it enough when we worry about things of this earth, we eliminate faith. Our worry, especially to a believe says that God isn’t Sovereign. I’m not saying it’s easy, what I am saying is keep moving in God’s presence so that you may be led to the things of God, and anything that is of God is good.

Blessings everyone,

I pray that you all are going through this day with the grace of God. It is amazing all the things that God does on an everyday basis. If we take the time to look around at the way that God shifts then you will catch a living testimony in the process.

Matthew Chapter 5

Verse 1 – 12

The scripture says when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountain and sat down. His disciples came to him and he began to teach them. The Lord said

Blessed are the poor in spirit,

For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are those who mourn,

For they will be comforted.

Blessed are the meek,

For they will inherit the earth.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,

For they will be filled.

Blessed are the merciful,

For they will be shown mercy.

Blessed are the pure heart,

For they will see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers,

For they will be called sons of God.

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,

For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

The Lord continues saying blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

When we go forth we know that many things and people will come at us the wrong way, testing us to see if our joy will shake, if our faith will crumble it is in the words of Jesus Christ, what should be remembered at that time. Your spirit has been knocked around Jesus says in verse 3 you have the kingdom of heaven. You are rich, your spirit is rich there is no need to feel like you are less than, you have the key to the kingdom. You are suffering a loss, you will be comforted God will do it for you. You will just need to go to him for all things. Praise God!

Verse 13-16

Jesus teaches about salt and light

The Lord tells us that we are what makes the earth better, if we lose our better if we lose our zeal for God then we aren’t going to be able to produce good. We will just be a waste.

The Lord tells us that we are the light of the world. We were not meant to be hidden and stand down. We were meant to be placed high so that everyone can be able to see what God has revealed through us. We are to bring Gods light to dark places.

In this day we look at the people on the street speaking Gods word like they are crazy and there are many of you that have been called to be evangelist and to go and shine Gods light in dark places but you don’t want others to call you crazy because you are speaking God’s word. I hear the Lord saying remember Jeremiah. Stand on my word!

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Verse 17-20

Jesus teaches about Law

Jesus reminds us that he didn’t come to remove the Law he came to fulfill  Gods words through the prophet. Jesus says until the heaven and earth disappears no word from the law will disappear until everything is accomplished. If you think that you can break any commandment and teach someone else how to break any commandments you will be called least in the kingdom of heaven. Jesus says unless your righteousness surpasses a Pharisees and the teachers of law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven

Amen we haven’t seen the heaven and earth disappear so there is no reason that we should be editing the commandments to fit our lifestyle. What I am noticing is that parents no longer teach their children to follow the ten commandments. If we start training our children on Gods law there they will find him and peace of mind.

We want our children to be kingdom kids, and even though we are walking toward righteousness we must get our households in order. Start to make affirmation with the commandments

I am one who does not put another god before the true and living God.

I am one who does not make Idols

Begin to speak God’s law over your life and the lives of the people around you.

Verse 21- 26

Jesus teaches about anger

Jesus teaches us that yes, we were told not to kill or we will be judged. Jesus says but if you anger with you brother you will be Judged as well. The Lord says you can’t come to the alter with anger against someone else. Reconcile and then bring your gift to the alter. The Lord says settle matters quickly with your adversary who is taking you to court, you will be handed over and won’t get out until you have paid the last penny.

We must fix the situation because we really don’t need an ugly seed of anger growing with our mustard seed that’s like weeds in the garden. The Lord reminds us that we must pay our debt.

Verse 27 – 30

Jesus teaches about lust

The Lord teaches us that if anyone who is married look at another person lustfully has already committed adultery in their heart. The lord tells us that if we want to blame a body part for our sin, then get rid of the body part. You should rather lose that body part then to go to hell.

We should not allow even ourselves to keep us from obeying Gods Law

Verse 31 – 32

The Lord tells us that unless our mate committed marital unfaithfulness if you move on to another person it will be still adultery.

We should be able to work things out we should be able to figure each other out when we are married. Currently, we do not take the time to get to know each other and spend time knowing each other’s people. These are things that we are supposed to do before we make the comitment of marriage. Some just want the big wedding and so marriage has stopped being taken so serious. Family is anointed by God and somewhere in the shift of generations we have moved from traditional and started editing the order of things. We want everything quickly not realizing that slow cooked things tend to linger longer.

Verse 33-37

Jesus teaches about vows

The Lord teaches us not to break our oath, to keep the oaths that we have made with the Lord. The Lord tells us not to swear on heaven because it is Gods throne and do not swear on the earth because it is Gods footstool or by Jerusalem because it is the city of the great king. Let your yes be yes and your no be no.

We must remember to stand on our word if you say you are going to do something follow through. If you tell God that you are going to do something follow through. We break promises to God all the time.“ Lord, if you get me out of this, I will make sure I do that” And the Lord comes through on his behalf and he sitting there waiting earth years for you to move.

Verse 38-42

Jesus teaches about retaliation

The Lord teaches yes you heard and eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. But do not withhold and evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek turn the other cheek. If someone wants to take your shirt give them your jacket as well. If someone forces you to go a mile, you go two miles. The Lord says give to the one who wants to borrow from you.

I believe a lot of people do not believe in this part of the scripture. What I will ask you is Do you have faith? Everything that was said in verses 1- 12 is the reason that you do not worry about what people do think or want. If someone hits your cheek do you not believe that Gods reaction is more solid then yours. Your reaction will have you walking away feeling convicted. If someone asks you to go beyond the earth, do you believe that the Lord will tenfold your sacrifice. Our faith should surpass our reactions.

Verse 43-48

Jesus says it was once told to love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But you should love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. That you may be sons of your father in heaven. Jesus asks if you love those who love you what reward will you get? Be perfect as your heavenly father is perfect

If we walked around helping just those who help us what satisfaction will you get. We are here to shine bright so what do you do shut the light off for those that you don’t know who are trying to climb over a hurdle.

Now for the most Important part, if you are looking to build your foundation in faith, you can Google, download a free bible app, or turn your bible to Romans chapter 10:9 and confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead then you shall be saved. Matthew Chapter 4

Blessings everyone,

I pray that in this day the angels are lifting you up so that your feet will not strike against any stone.

It gets hard and confusing at times, just continue to push through and grab on to God’s vision. We may not know what is going to be standing in front of us, but what we do know is that we WILL be lifted over it.

Matthew Chapter 4

Satan Tempts Jesus in the desert

Verses 1-11

The word tells us that after Jesus was Baptized by John the Baptist, the spirit led him in to the desert to be tempted by the devil. After he fasted for forty days and forty nights he was hungry. The word says the tempter came and said

If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread

Jesus answered

It is written: Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word, that comes from the mouth of God

The word says that the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple

If you are Son of God, he said throw yourself down. For it is written

He will command his angels concerning you,

And they will lift you up in their hands,

So that you will not strike your foot against a stone

Jesus answered him

It is also written

Do not put the Lord your God to the test.

The word says that the devil took him to the highest mountain and said

All this I will give you, if you will bow down and worship me.

Jesus said

Away from me Satan, for it is written: Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.

Then the devil left and the angels attended to him

When we are walking toward righteousness and moving in the provision of God. We get tempted. Tempted to go back and do the things that we once have done. Tempted to step out of character. Think of Jesus who Commanded Satan to get away from him.

It’s time for us to start to command the tempter to go! And when we command Satan to go the angels will come and attend to us. Why? Because the Holy Spirit lives within us.

Jesus begins his ministry

Verses 12- 17

The word says when Jesus heard that John had been put in prison he returned to Galilee this fulfilled the prophesy through Isaiah

Land of Zubulun and land of Naphtali,

The way to the sea, along the Jordan,

Galilee of the Gentiles

The people living in darkness

have seen a great light;

on those living in the land of shadow of death

a light has dawned.

From that time on Jesus began to preach,

Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.

No matter what goes in in our lives as Christians, we learn that the most valuable information to pass on is Salvation.

Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near

This was the beginning of Jesus’s ministry be for the miracle signs, and wonders it was repent.

What the Father has already put in place will come to pass. What the father has already meant for your purpose on this earth is already waiting in the spirit realm.

Verses 18 – 22

Four fishermen follow Jesus

The word says that Jesus was walking along the sea and saw Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew throwing there fishing net and Jesus said to them.

Come follow me and I will make you fisher of men

And they followed. Then he saw James and his brother John who were in a boat with their father and Jesus called to them tow come with him and they did.

As I was writing this I asked why fishermen? the Holy Spirit reminded me how patient fishermen are, how patient we have to be when ministering to people. Some will jump in the net but others will run and you will have to be patient enough to let them come on their own.

Verses 23 – 25

The word tells us that Jesus went through Galilee preaching the good news of the kingdom in synagogues, healing the sick, ill, and disable.

When we think about Jesus we think about his sacrifice, paying the ransom for our souls. But getting to know Jesus is about his walk before he got to the sacrifice. The walk that some of us struggle to walk. The faith that it takes to allow God to rule over every aspect of our lives taking nothing back that we have given him.

Faith that allows us to be patient fishermen, faith that confirms that we are servants for the kingdom of God. Faith that allows us to heal, pray, and overcome. Faith that allows us to believe that the angels Will lift us up and our feet will not strike against a stone.

Now for the most Important part, if you are looking to build your foundation in faith, you can Google, download a free bible app, or turn your bible to Romans chapter 10:9 and confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead then you shall be saved. Matthew Chapter 3

logo_2042734_web

Blessings everyone,

God is so good to us! If we are really listening, we will hear the warnings before the storm and in the storms. For those that think that God forgot about them, know that God just wants you to listen for him. At times listening to him may require others to come in and deliver a message. If you are not willing to chew and swallow (listen and think), then you will miss your instructions to how to get over that barrier.

Matthew Chapter 3

Verses  1- 12

John the Baptist prepares the way for Jesus

The word tells us that John the Baptist would go to preach in the desert of Judea during this time. He would say to the people

“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”

The prophecy of Isaiah came to pass through John the Baptist

“A voice of one calling in the desert,

‘Prepare the way for the Lord,

Make straight paths for him.’”

The word says that Johns clothes was made of camel hair, he also wore a leather belt around his waist. He ate locusts and wild honey. The people would come from Jerusalem, Judea and the region of Jordan to confess their sins and be baptized in the Jordan river by John the Baptist.

The word tells us that when John the Baptist started to see Pharisees and Sadducees coming he begin to say to them. You group of snakes, who warned you to try to get away from the wrath? He tells them to do well with keeping repentance, and not to try to say that they were sons of Abraham. He tells them God can raise children for Abraham out of stones.

“the Ax is at the root of every tree, the tree that doesn’t produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown in the fire.”

“one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not fit to carry.

He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. His winnowing fork is in his hand,

and he will clear his threshing floor,

gathering his wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”

After reading these verses I was stuck for a moment I begin to think about John the Baptist, about the Sadducees (group who denies resurrection). It is the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ that allows us to go to the Father clean.

Because John the Baptist, only can baptize with water and you repent, you would have to stay well in that repentance. To be a child of Abraham we go through the son of Abraham Jesus Christ. Anyone that does not come from good will be cut off. From the beginning the God knows our intents, because God knows our hearts. We can’t go into spiritual oneness with just the desire to succeed financially or to get what we want. We must go in to things with our whole heart in it. When we are not all the way there for the right reasons we will not produce good fruit.

The word says that Jesus will come and take the grain ( the good, fruitful) and blow away the chaff ( the debris, not needed) and burn it away.

Verse 13 -17

John Baptizes Jesus

The word says that Jesus call from Galilee to the Jordan river to be baptized by John. John tried to change Jesus’s will to be baptized by him. He begin to say to Jesus

“I need to be baptized by you”

Jesus told John “to let it be so now, it is proper for us to do this tow fulfill all righteousness.”

Then John consented.

The word says as soon as Jesus was baptized he went up out of the water. The word says heaven was opened, and he saw the spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him. And a voice from heaven said

“This is my son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”

Jesus new the importance of the order, He knew the prophecy’s need to come to pass. Because John1:1 in the beginning was the word and the word was with God. John1:14 The word became flesh and made his dwelling among us.

God Loved Jesus because Jesus was his son and he was pleased with Jesus because Jesus was his son.

For those that thinks that God forgot about you, he didn’t he is waiting for the protical child to return. He is waiting for you to be still and listen to all that he wants to teach you. All that he wants you to teach. Trust and believe you are not forgotten you are, very much loved. Just because he has placed you on this earth.
